As of 7 April 2026, the fees for the reception and treatment of waste at Kaunas regional landfills for non-hazardous waste, for the reception and treatment of green waste at green waste composting sites and for the collection of bulky waste at waste collection sites will change:
- The fee for receiving and treating waste at Kaunas regional landfills is EUR 130.02 (excluding VAT) per tonne.
- The rate for the reception and treatment of non-municipal green waste is EUR 79.09 (excluding VAT) per tonne.
- The cost of accepting the above-normative amount of waste at bulky waste collection sites is EUR 156.02 (excluding VAT) per tonne.
The new fee was approved by a decision of the General Meeting of Shareholders of the Kaunas Regional Waste Management Centre on 5 March 2026.
