Last week, members of the Lithuanian Regional Waste Management Centres Association (LRWMA), including specialists from Kaunas RWMC, participated in public procurement training<\/strong> in Taurag\u0117. The lecturers – Giedrius Ruseckas, an expert in public procurement and public-private partnership, and Rasa Klimavi\u010dien\u0117, an advisor to the Procurement Management Unit of the Public Procurement Service, presented how to properly plan procurement, discussed the draft amendments to the Law, the principles of procurement management, the peculiarities of the execution of contracts, and the most frequent problems. Such meetings not only strengthen competences in the field of public procurement, but also promote closer cooperation between regional centres. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In the second half of the week, the focus shifted to the application of artificial intelligence<\/strong>. During the training Povilas \u017darnauskas and Sandra Jankauskait\u0117 gave a detailed introduction to the concept of AI, its development, benefits and risks.
